The 2019 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE 2019) is the 14th in a series of ISKE conferences. The conference will be held in Dalian, a beautiful place in northeast of China. All papers accepted for Special Sessions will be included in the IEEE ISKE 2019 proceedings that will be published by IEEE Press (EI indexed). Special issues of SCI indexed journals will be devoted to a strict refereed selection of extended papers presented at ISKE 2019.

Scope and Topics

Logic is the primary base of artificial intelligence. It provides the fundamental stone for artificial intelligence and applications. There are many fields of artificial intelligence are depend on logic, such as decision making, fraud detection, cybernetics, and precision medicine, etc.. Logic serves as the foundations of reasoning. It is the bridge of fundamental theory and applications. This special session aims to provide an opportunity and forum for researchers from fields of artificial intelligence logic and applications to discuss their fundamental theoretic research results in artificial intelligence logic, and to share their novel ideas, original research achievements, and practical experiences in any related fields of artificial intelligence applications. Topics include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • Belief logic and Epistemic logic
  • Default logic and Modal logic
  • Description logic and Separate logic
  • Dynamic logic and Temporal logic
  • Non-monotonic logic and Non-classic logic
  • Probabilistic logic and Fuzzy logic
